Our assignment was to transform the University at Buffalo's Lockwood hallway. The result was a creation of two unique directional experiences achieved through an integrated color system. This introduced typefaces created by 12 students and collaborations with creative writing students. Each side includes a coded message. The windows within the hallway showcase the full alphabet as an introduction to modular typographic systems. A word essential to solving the code is included in the shadows across the brick walls adjacent to the pillars.
